ARGENTINA
Serving with La Roca Family Center
Martin + Carolina serve children and their families through Centro Familiar, La Roca (The Rock, Family Center). They focus on the children first, because they are the generation that will make a difference in the future of this very challenging and marginalized area of Santiago, Argentina. By living life alongside anyone who walks through their doors, they teach and instill God’s love and Biblical truths through all the classes taught and opportunities offered. They also serve the community by providing clothing, food and basic necessities. Most importantly, they offer the hope that only Jesus Christ can provide.

COSTA RICA
Serving with Face of Justice
Susie moved to Costa Rica in the fall of 2019 after she served with Face of Justice on a short-term trip. She now works with Face of Justice in San Jose. Susie works in a safe house of underage girls who are survivors of sex and labor trafficking. She facilitates activities with girls whose focus is therapeutic in nature, such as art therapy, music lessons and games. She also teaches a jewelry making class in the Red Light District to help provide an opportunity for women to take the brave step of leaving the streets by learning a marketable trade.

Face of Justice Ministries is directed by Steve and Elizabeth Gilroy, who founded the ministry in Costa Rica in 2014. Their mission is to bring love, hope, and freedom to victims of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. Although FOJ has a variety of ministries, their primary focus is The Freedom House. This is a safe house for teenage girls, ages 11-17, who have been rescued out the horrors of sexual slavery.

Carlos and Tatiana have served with Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU) in Costa Rica for over twenty years. Because they both began a relationship with Christ when they were college students, they are passionate about sharing the gospel and the love of Jesus with university students, professors, and administrative staff. Carlos and Tatiana hope that by developing strong missional followers of Jesus in the universities, this will result in a new generation to transform their country and other countries where these students may go. Carlos is the national director for CRU Latin America and oversees Crisis Management for the same area. Tatiana is the CRU Latin America Area Finances Leader.

The mission of the John Foundation is to rescue vulnerable, orphaned children and young girls from being trafficked and provide them with hope for the future in a sustainable way. In a nation where less than 2% are Christian, the Hamams are passionate about sharing the person, works, and life of Christ with the young people of Jordan. As the National Coordinator, Rajaee built relationships with local churches, initiated a youth leader training course, organized events that introduced unchurched youth to the church, and began a school ministry that teaches Kingdom values in schools. Current programs include an interactive training course for youth and youth leaders in local churches, dynamic clubs and camps that introduce unchurched youth to those leaders, a purposeful school ministry in which Kingdom values are taught to students from all faith backgrounds. A vibrant social media ministry shares the hope of Christ and provides youth the opportunity to give personal testimony of the power of the Gospel to their peers.

There are an estimated 100 million street children in the world; nearly 500,000 of them live on the streets of Kenya. TRU Africa partners with local churches to minister to these neglected and ostracized boys. The Maxwells minister to about 400 street boys throughout the month utilizing a Four Step Program. They are transforming the lives of street youth through education, career training, social activities, and counseling. The Maxwells have been serving in Kenya for over eight years with their three children.

Dave and Amy serve the church in Mozambique through teaching and compassion ministries. Dave is a university professor at CDL (Centre for the Development of Leadership) where he teaches Apologetics and Systematic Theology. Amy works with special needs children; an essential program for many at risk youth in their area.
Additionally, Dave and Amy have ministries to street boys and human trafficking survivors. Armadura is a not-for-profit gym that hires homeless youth and develops them into personal trainers. Free The Girls provides job opportunities to women who have left forced prostitution and are ready to reintegrate back into the marketplace.

Approximately 100+ villages in the North American Arctic do not have an established Christian evangelical church, pastor, or missionary presence. Most of these villages are only accessible by plane or boat and have few, or no, followers of Jesus Christ. For those ministering in this region, the burnout rate is extremely high. The vitality of village pastors, missionaries, and their families is critically important for the development and sustainability of healthy church communities. Arctic Barnabas is all about encouraging and strengthening healthy, thriving leaders to lead healthy, thriving ministries!

Amilcar and Karina serve at Iglesia Bautista El Puente (The Bridge Baptist Church) at Cusco, Peru since 2015. Since then, they’ve been teaching and encouraging the faith of new believers, that hopefully will be the Church future leadership.
Additionally, the Pantigozo’s have been working on three missionary projects around the city sharing the gospel with children, youth and adults. They also own a Christian School where they are basing the teaching on the Word of God.
Their goal is to see people’s lives transformed by the Gospel and to see the new generations growing in knowledge, love and service to our Savior.

Daniel and Iwona Eifling have been serving in Wroclaw, Poland since 2006. Daniel is passionate about youth ministry, discipling young people, and training youth leaders all over the country through conferences, training events, and mentoring. He also serves on the executive team of their Polish youth ministry organization “Fala.” Iwona utilizes her counseling training to lead a ministry called Projekt 29:11, designed to help emotionally wounded women find hope and redemption in Christ, a ministry that is virtually non-existent in Poland.

Since 1993, Dan and Laura have trained and coached young leaders in numerous churches and ministries throughout Poland. Roberto and Patty serve both the Ukrainian and Polish people. There are millions of Ukrainian refugees living in Poland who need the hope only Jesus provides. This gives them the opportunity to serve a wide variety of ages through different programs and activities. They coordinate the distribution for humanitarian aid, run various craft workshops and a film club based on Jesus Life. Additionally, they minister to elderly people at their Senior’s Club, teach Spanish classes and continue to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to refugees.
Their ministry verse: “But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.” Acts 20:24

We Work with ROCKY MOUNTAIN POLICE CHAPLAINS
Travis serves as a Law Enforcement Chaplain for two agencies. He provides leadership through RMPC to develop agency chaplain programs, and trains chaplains across the region. As a Chaplain, Travis proactively builds relationships with Officers and their families so that when the stress, reality, and critical incidents occur, he is able to assist in a variety of ways. As a former Officer, there is trust and confidentiality that goes beyond the normal – which then opens the door for honest conversations, opportunities to share the hope of Jesus, and discipleship. Brandi serves as a nurse in the ER at a local hospital where she has opportunities to be the hands and feet of Jesus. She is able to comfort those that are hurting, provide lifesaving help, and exhibit the love of Christ to all those that God brings her way.

Ken Allen is the Executive Director of the Denver area Youth for Christ (YFC). He oversees 25 staff that reach teenagers with the Gospel through the YFC ministry models of Campus Life, Juvenile Justice, Parent Life, City Life, and mentoring. Over the course of the year, YFC Denver will reach over 1,000 teenagers in authentic Christ sharing relationships.

Matt and Leslie have been missionaries for over 40 years. Matt works in media production, visually communicating to the Church what God is doing around the world, as well as creating evangelistic media tools. In the past four decades, he has traveled, lived or worked in over two dozen countries. Leslie mobilizes and serves the missions cause at Mission Hills Church in the Global Outreach department as well as leading overseas missions teams and teaching women’s Bible studies.

North Littleton Promise builds life-giving relationships with immigrant children and their families, and mobilizes local partners to transform the northeast Littleton neighborhood through Christ. They host Kids Clubs for elementary school students and provide Life Mentors for middle school students. Kids and students learn leadership principles through serving, faith through spiritual mentors, and receive educational help from tutors. NLP also partners with a soccer club to provide fun team building experiences. During the summer, NLP offers additional activities for 1st through 8th graders. Although North Littleton Promise has fully developed programs for children, they also have platforms aimed at serving the entire family in the areas of leadership, education, and faith.

Save Our Youth has served Denver’s urban at-risk youth since 1994. Severe Weather Shelter Network (SWSN) mobilizes community resources to provide physical, mental, and spiritual short-term refuge for individuals living on the streets.
