ARGENTINA | MARTIN + CAROLINA RODRIGUEZ
We work with La Roca Family Center
Martin + Carolina serve children and their families through Centro Familiar, La Roca (The Rock, Family Center). They focus on the children first, because they are the generation that will make a difference in the future of this very challenging and marginalized area of Santiago, Argentina. By living life alongside anyone who walks through their doors, they teach and instill God’s love and Biblical truths through all the classes taught and opportunities offered. They also serve the community by providing clothing, food and basic necessities. Most importantly, they offer the hope that only Jesus Christ can provide.
COSTA RICA | SUSIE BISSETT
I Work with Face of Justice
Susie moved to Costa Rica in the fall of 2019 after she served with Face of Justice on a short-term trip. She now works with Face of Justice in San Jose. Susie works in a safe house of underage girls who are survivors of sex and labor trafficking. She facilitates activities with girls whose focus is therapeutic in nature, such as art therapy, music lessons and games. She also teaches a jewelry making class in the Red Light District to help provide an opportunity for women to take the brave step of leaving the streets by learning a marketable trade.VISIT THEIR WEBSITE

WE ARE FACE OF JUSTICE MINISTRIES
Face of Justice Ministries is directed by Steve and Elizabeth Gilroy, who founded the ministry in Costa Rica in 2014. Their mission is to bring love, hope, and freedom to victims of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. Although FOJ has a variety of ministries, their primary focus is The Freedom House. This is a safe house for teenage girls, ages 11-17, who have been rescued out the horrors of sexual slavery.

Carlos and Tatiana have served with Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU) in Costa Rica for over twenty years. Because they both began a relationship with Christ when they were college students, they are passionate about sharing the gospel and the love of Jesus with university students, professors, and administrative staff. Carlos and Tatiana hope that by developing strong missional followers of Jesus in the universities, this will result in a new generation to transform their country and other countries where these students may go. We Work with Mission to El Salvador
Jon + Danielle minister to vulnerable and marginalized members of their community in San Salvador, El Salvador. Their work includes ministry to survivors of trafficking and sexual exploitation, those who are facing homelessness and extreme poverty, individuals who have recently returned from the U.S., as well as those who are on a journey toward addiction recovery. Serving as church planters in the province of Comayagua, located in the center of Honduras, Paul and Tania have a passion to reach men, women, children, and villages in areas where the Gospel is marginalized. Bringing the good news to some of the poorest areas, they see the restorative message of Jesus Christ impact communities and bring hope to future generations. We Work with THE JOHN FOUNDATION
The mission of the John Foundation is to rescue vulnerable, orphaned children and young girls from being trafficked and provide them with hope for the future in a sustainable way. They work to instill a sense of worth and provide them with the education and employable skills needed to lift them up to a position where they can support themselves. This is accomplished through a variety of programs such as: children’s homes, back-to-school programs, skills training centers, restoration homes for girls, transformation homes for adults, and church planters training.

Beit Rachamim (Hebrew for “House of Compassion”) provides a unique opportunity to serve both believing and unbelieving Jewish communities in tangible ways. Long-standing relationships give Larry and Bess the ability to connect a short-term team with over 18 ministries throughout Israel. Teams will impact lives by being the hands and feet of Jesus as they work in His service.

There are an estimated 100 million street children in the world; nearly 500,000 of them live on the streets of Kenya. TRU Africa partners with local churches to minister to these neglected and ostracized boys. The Maxwells minister to about 400 street boys throughout the month utilizing a Four Step Program. They are transforming the lives of street youth through education, career training, social activities, and counseling. Approximately 100+ villages in the North American Arctic do not have an established Christian evangelical church, pastor, or missionary presence. Most of these villages are only accessible by plane or boat and have few, or no, followers of Jesus Christ. For those ministering in this region, the burnout rate is extremely high. The vitality of village pastors, missionaries, and their families is critically important for the development and sustainability of healthy church communities. Arctic Barnabas is all about encouraging and strengthening healthy, thriving leaders to lead healthy, thriving ministries!

The Stephens family lives in Oahu and continues their work of Church Planting in Military Communities outside the continental United States. As a retired Marine Corps family, the Lord has given them a strong desire to pour into and serve our US service members while also leveraging their mobility to spread the Gospel of the Kingdom of God around the world. The Stephens family focuses specifically on service members who are isolated from friends and family in cross-cultural communities in hopes of creating Christian community and equipping them to live as ambassadors of this Gospel to their neighbors…regardless of their cultural background.

We Work With Josiah Venture
Daniel and Iwona Eifling have been serving in Wroclaw, Poland since 2006. Daniel is passionate about youth ministry, discipling young people, and training youth leaders all over the country through conferences, training events, and mentoring. Since 1993, Dan and Laura have trained and coached young leaders in numerous churches and ministries throughout Poland. They helped start the Second Baptist Church, “Opoka,” in Katowice and they currently live in Mikołów, where they are starting a new church. Focusing on community transformation, they are seeing young leaders step up and bring the gospel to their communities. They have one son, Jacob, who is married and recently joined the Josiah Venture team to serve in Poland.

The vision of Hope Haven is to change the world one family at a time. This is accomplished by providing impoverished children with an exceptional primary school education and an understanding of Jesus Christ. In addition, they offer employment and literacy opportunities to the parents and older siblings of their students. We Work with ROCKY MOUNTAIN POLICE CHAPLAINS
Travis serves as a Law Enforcement Chaplain for two agencies. He provides leadership through RMPC to develop agency chaplain programs, and trains chaplains across the region. As a Chaplain, Travis proactively builds relationships with Officers and their families so that when the stress, reality, and critical incidents occur, he is able to assist in a variety of ways. As a former Officer, there is trust and confidentiality that goes beyond the normal – which then opens the door for honest conversations, opportunities to share the hope of Jesus, and discipleship. Brandi serves as a nurse in the ER at a local hospital where she has opportunities to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Ken Allen is the Executive Director of the Denver area Youth for Christ (YFC). He oversees 25 staff that reach teenagers with the Gospel through the YFC ministry models of Campus Life, Juvenile Justice, Parent Life, City Life, and mentoring. Matt and Leslie have been missionaries for over 40 years. Matt works in media production, visually communicating to the Church what God is doing around the world, as well as creating evangelistic media tools. He also teaches courses in basic media production to equip God’s people to share the Good News with their peers. In the past four decades, he has traveled, lived or worked in over two dozen countries. It is being produced to impact lives of viewers around the world, challenging them to serve God on mission in new ways, wherever they are. For many years Barb has been with Nurse Family Partnership, a non-profit that transforms the first thousand days of life for babies born to moms living in poverty.

In July of 2020, CJ and Mary relocated their outreach ministry to Tennessee. They are focused on the migrant/Muslim community in the Memphis area impacting them with the Good News of Hope found in Jesus. They also partner with Crescent Project as trainers/mobilizers among Latino churches and are involved in one-on-one discipleship. Through the means of tutoring, citizenship courses, and English classes, the Mihalkos shine the Light of Jesus into the lives of those God brings to them.

Tim and Heidi have been Mission Hills missionaries since 1995 and have served in a variety of capacities overseas. Tim is the Chairman of the International Leadership Team for SERVED, which assists schools that serve children in areas affected by armed conflict. Open Door Ministries exists to provide practical help and hope to people in urban Denver who are homeless or low income. Their primary objective is to move people toward self-sufficiency by helping change the circumstances and life patterns that have held them captive to poverty and addictions. Through 17 distinct programs, they focus on tangible needs like food, shelter, access to education and employment training, as well as intangible needs such as friendship, hope, and Christian spiritual guidance. David is the Executive Director of ODM, and Michelle is a public voice for justice on several fronts. Together, they started Westside Church International.
ALTERNATIVES PREGNANCY CENTER
Alternatives provides the Denver area with free and confidential medical care and counseling for those experiencing unexpected pregnancy, compromised sexual health, or mixed emotions after a pregnancy decision. In addition, through our youth education program, we build on the existing strengths of young adults and equip them with the tools needed to make healthy and informed choices in life. We do not refer for or offer abortion services and we make sure everyone receives accurate medical information and compassionate care during and after a life-altering pregnancy decision.
BRIDGE OF HOPE
Bridge of Hope serves single mothers and their children who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in the greater Denver area. After 30 years of ministry, Bridge of Hope’s mission distinctive remains the same: engaging Christian faith communities in ending and preventing family homelessness through neighboring relationships that demonstrate Christ’s love.
ROCKY MOUNTAIN REGION
Mission Hills belongs to the Converge denomination (formerly the Baptist General Conference). This includes supporting the church planting fund which helps to start churches in the Rocky Mountain region. They are committed to starting missionally-minded churches in every people group and community. They focus on connecting God’s people around God’s purposes so He might ignite movements of reproduction for the purpose of transforming lives with Christ’s love and truth.
Justice and Mercy Legal Aid Clinic was founded in 2006. JAMLAC is a faith-based, non-profit law firm that provides a safe and confidential resource for those struggling with poverty and oppression. Full-time attorneys, paralegals, interns, and volunteers manage approximately 60 active cases each week. The Life Center hosts one of the eight free consultation clinics in the Denver metro area.
Love In the Name of Christ is a partnership of churches working to meet the tangible and intangible needs in their community. Love INC works to mobilize local churches to transform their communities through building genuine relationships that can connect people in need to resources. NORTH LITTLETON PROMISE
North Littleton Promise builds life-giving relationships with immigrant children and their families, and mobilizes local partners to transform the northeast Littleton neighborhood through Christ. They host Kids Clubs for elementary school students and provide Life Mentors for middle school students. Kids and students learn leadership principles through serving, faith through spiritual mentors, and receive educational help from tutors. NLP also partners with a soccer club to provide fun team building experiences. During the summer, NLP offers additional activities for 1st through 8th graders. Although North Littleton Promise has fully developed programs for children, they also have platforms aimed at serving the entire family in the areas of leadership, education, and faith.
SAVE OUR YOUTH
DENVER METRO AREA
Save Our Youth has served Denver’s urban at-risk youth since 1994. SOY is a youth development organization providing at-risk kids the educational, emotional, and spiritual skills for success through long-term mentoring relationships. While one-on-one mentoring in the community is the core of what they do, they also plan, host, and offer a variety of other programs and events for mentors and their mentees. Events like Summer Academy, Back to School, College and Career Prep, and the annual Christmas party enhance the mentoring relationship and the growth of mentees.
SEVERE WEATHER SHELTER
DENVER METRO AREA
Severe Weather Shelter Network (SWSN) mobilizes community resources to provide physical, mental, and spiritual short-term refuge for individuals living on the streets. They partner with local churches and organizations to provide emergency overnight shelter on life threatening winter nights for unhoused individuals. These people not only have a warm and safe place to sleep, but they also receive a hot meal and friendly conversation centered around the love of Jesus.
