We spend a lot of time and energy reaching for more. We work harder and longer, telling ourselves that eventually we’ll have enough, do enough, or finally be enough.

And yet, no matter how much more we get, somehow, it’s never enough. This description from the Bible – “you earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it” (Hag 1:6) – is all too familiar.

What if we’re chasing the wrong more? What if the longing for more is right, but what we think will satisfy that longing is wrong?

God created you for more. Your work, relationships, money, seasons…even your seasons of struggle, can mean so much more than you’re experiencing. What you already have can take on new purpose in God’s hands.
