INSTANT TAKEAWAYS

1 | LEAN INTO HIM IN FEAR

The Lord is our shepherd and our protector. He wants to meet us in those “hardest” and protect us in any way that we can. When you trust in His protection and lean into His arms when we are most fearful, time and time again he will come through for us. There is no situation too big, or too scary, for our God and Creator. Often times we can think about why this is happening, why are we in this scary place? But He holds us close, and holds our hearts in His hands! We need to trust Him, through our unshakable faith.

2 | There is No Pit So Deep, That He is Not Deeper Still

God doesn’t enjoy our pain, and He doesn’t force us to feel anguish or misery. He does, however, allow us situations where we need to rely fully on Him, lean 100% into our faith. And if we are able to trust, and come out the other side because of Him, and know that He is enough, we are rectified inHim. God is good, forever and always. There is a purpose and a plan to everything, and He knows that! When things seem dark, and times seem bleak, know that he is enough and that He loves you enough to bring you through what you’re going through.

SHOW NOTES

Welcome back to Anchor + Waves! We really hope you enjoyed our Identity Series, and before we really kick-off our Motherhood Series, we’re going to take a little break and revisit our Life on Mission Series. Today we sit down with Danielle Mayén and learn about what it was like to live in Central America.

Danielle revisits some of the trials and tribulations she faced, along with some of the momentous joys and peaks of her travels. Throughout her story, we can truly hear what it means to be on mission for Jesus, even when we’re not actively involved in ministry. His characteristics should be seen in every area of our lives and that’s exactly Danielle’s story. Listen in today, you won’t want to miss this one.
