EVERYONE HAS A ROLE
IN GLOBAL MISSIONS
GLOBAL EXPERIENCENovember 3 - 18, 2018
Our Key Focus Areas
Many world communities are caught in cycles which prevent them from hearing the Gospel. The most immediate need they face is often for clean water, food, and the ability to provide for their family. Jesus had a heart for people; He met the physical need before addressing the eternal. In meeting the most basic needs of those we serve, we earn the right to also share God’s love. By educating locals, teaching hygiene, providing access to clean water, establishing sustainable businesses, and creating jobs, we are part of community transformation.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” | Matthew 25:35-36

KIDS AT RISK

LEADERS OF THE FUTURE

Partnering with ministries who empower the next generation to become transformational and influential leaders.

Africa holds some of the most breathtaking wonders of the world – from Victoria Falls to the Pyramids. It is one of the most resource-abundant regions, and has rich cultural history and tradition. Despite this, it leads the world in child labor, with one in five children working against their will. Poverty holds many captive and struggling to get food, medicine, and clean water. In a predominantly Muslim continent, these people are desperate for the hope and love of the Gospel.
We partner with various ministries across Africa to reach communities with the love of Jesus. These ministries transform lives of street youth through career training and counseling, train pastors with theological teaching, and help communities break out of the cycle of poverty through education and aid.
Asia is the largest and most populated continent on earth and holds some of the world’s most unique and diverse cultures. It is a mecca for tourism and business. Despite its rapid economic growth and development, many people are still living in bondage. Asia leads the world in modern-day slavery, with reports suggesting that 25 million people in the Asia-Pacific region are trapped in human and sex trafficking and forced labor. Jesus came to seek and save the lost, and his heart is to see them freed from bondage and oppression. We partner with a number of ministries to rescue women and children from the sex trafficking industry, give religious, vocational, and educational training, and train up young leaders to reach their communities with the Gospel.
Central America is a lush and tropical region, filled with rich biodiversity, beautiful beaches, and towering active volcanoes. Its history blends European colonization with indigenous tribal heritage, creating unique and vibrant architecture, food, and music. Unfortunately, inequality, poverty, and crime still plague these developing nations. In recent years, Jesus has been at work in Central America as the gospel has spread and the Christian church has grown rapidly. We love being a part of the work God is doing there by partnering with local ministries that mentor new Latino believers towards missions in their businesses, share the gospel with university students, and developing leaders to go out into their communities and spread the love of Jesus.
Europe has been the epicenter of the western developing world for hundreds of years. It boasts grand historical architecture, rich expressions of art and music, and grand cathedrals from a robust religious history. Despite its rich heritage, the European church has experienced a drastic decline in recent years, with whole countries flaunting their movement away from Christianity. Today, there are small pockets of believers praying fervently for a new revival in Europe, waiting to see a new life and love for Jesus take root in these countries. God is moving through our partnerships with these ministries in Europe. He is doing incredible work through their revitalization of evangelism, outreach to hurting youth, and ministry through local churches.
Approximately 22 countries make up the region of the Middle East, which is home to towering ancient monuments, diverse cultural heritage, and beautiful desert oases. However, its location on fertile agricultural land, oil resources, and strong historical and religious significance have turned the land into a region torn apart by war and a violent struggle for power. One in twenty people in the Middle East has been displaced from their homes, leading to one of the largest refugee crisis’ in history. These people are desperate to know the hope of Jesus Christ and to take comfort in His promises. God is using His people in to reach out to these hurting people. He is using our partners in the Middle East to change lives through their ministry with evangelistic media production, Bible translation, pastoral training, and reaching out to refugees through education.
Home to vast rainforests, mountain ranges, and coastal cities, South America is a beautiful continent with a rich cultural heritage. Indigenous culture mixed with European influence created cities filled with vibrant color, architecture, music, food, and tradition. Yet as a developing region, South American countries still face issues of inequality, poverty, and human trafficking. But God continues to work despite religious persecution in these countries. We partner with ministries in South America that support at-risk youth, train women for self-sustaining careers, and sharing the gospel to see communities transformed.
THE UNITED STATES
An affluent and developed nation, the United States presents different challenges for the spread of the gospel from the rest of the world. While most Americans have heard the Gospel – or even profess to believe in the core tenants of Christianity – few are moved to live in dependence on and submission to the Lord. Yet in the midst a culture of comfort and pride, God is moving in the Church to provide hope, love, and a message of eternal significance. We are partnering with ministries to encourage and strengthen weary and tired leaders, develop healthy church communities, and bring the gospel to rural areas that are still unreached.
Jesus said, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.” Our mission field is never one city, nation, or continent – it is all people in all places. We are called to be reaching everyone in our field of influence with the gospel of Jesus Christ. God is using ministries, churches, and individuals around the globe to bring hope, healing, and redemption to a lost world. We are partnering with ministries globally to bring the Gospel into communities not constrained by borders, languages, and region. God is doing amazing work as they bring the gospel to the most remote and unreached people groups, develop missionaries, and share Jesus with military communities.
