BAPTISM

Baptism is a public declaration of an inward faith.

We believe that baptism is an important step of obedience for every person who has accepted Christ as his or her Savior.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” | Matthew 28:19-20

Baptism is a public declaration of an inward faith. It is a personal declaration that we choose to identify with Jesus.

BAPTISM IS A PUBLIC PROFESSION OF FAITH

Baptism doesn’t save you, it shows others that you are already a believer. It is not essential to salvation. It is an outward act of commitment to show what already happened in your heart—much like putting on a wedding ring is a symbol of your commitment to
marriage.
