Our next Baptism Weekend is February 28 + March 1, 2026.
WHAT IS BAPTISM?
Baptism is part of a believer’s journey to becoming more like Jesus. It is not essential to salvation, but it is an outward act of commitment to show what already happened in your heart—much like putting on a wedding ring is a symbol of your commitment to marriage. We believe that baptism is an important step of obedience for every person who has accepted Christ as his or her Savior.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” | Matthew 28:19-20
Baptism is a public declaration of an inward faith. It is a personal declaration that we choose to identify with Jesus.
At Mission Hills we practice immersion baptism. The act of being baptized—going under the water and then reemerging—symbolizes Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection into new life. When we declare faith in Jesus, we put our old life of sin to death and we are raised to new life in Christ.

Ready to be baptized? Fill out the interest form below to sign up.
You will designate the Prep Meeting and Baptism date and time you prefer. Check out your campus’ Baptism information below.
STEP 3 //
Invite your friends and family to celebrate with you!
BAPTISM FOR KIDS
Experience all the details and preparation for baptism in a kid-friendly environment at our Kids Baptism Prep Class (Littleton Campus only). Kids will have the chance to ask questions, connect with leaders to ensure they’re ready to take this next step of faith, and receive everything they need to feel confident and prepared.
This class is required for all Littleton Campus kids 5th grade and younger (plus a parent) interested in baptism. When registering, be sure to select the Kids Baptism Prep Class option.
At our Castle Rock, Español, and North Littleton campuses, kids will attend the regular Baptism Prep class. Please contact your campus pastor if you have additional questions/concerns about your child’s baptism.
