We’ve already examined the vanity of life under the sun in a variety of areas this season — wisdom, pleasure, work, relationships, oppression. In today’s passage, the Teacher turns to examine wealth, concluding that even riches are meaningless! We’ll discuss his observations and then wrap up Chapter 6 with a variety of wisdom for “life under the sun,” a theme that will continue into next week’s episode.
