SHORT TERM TRIP DESCRIPTION

COLORADO – DENVER

COMMUNITY OUTREACH | OPEN DOOR MINISTRIES

High School and Middle School students will serve alongside Open Door Ministries (ODM) in urban Denver through meaningful service projects, community engagement, and educational experiences rooted in a Christian worldview. We will have the opportunity to serve ODM and other neighborhood organizations, interact with people experiencing homelessness, learn about urban issues, and gain a deeper understanding of God’s Kingdom at work in the city. We will stay the night at ODM’s Westside Church campus and participate in a combination of service projects, community involvement, and learning activities designed to challenge perspectives and encourage lives to be transformed through service and the work of the Holy Spirit.

COST ESTIMATE | $1,000 (covers lodging, transportation, food, programming, and project supplies)
TRIP DATES | Friday, March 19–Saturday, March 20, 2027 (Must be at Mission Hills at 8 AM on Friday and will return on Saturday at 5 PM)
TEAM SIZE | up to 30 people
REQUIREMENTS | Middle School and High School students only
