6 Pillars // Prayer
Our goal is to teach students to understand the intimacy and power that God offers through prayer. So often we use prayer as a cold call or for emergencies. We seek what God can do for us, hoping that He will make our life more convenient. However, prayer should go beyond seeking God’s hand, but also seeking His face. God’s intention is to provide for us through relationship. At The Crossing we teach students to seek God and His character along with His provision. When we go to God for His hand alone, we may miss His face, but when we seek the face of God first, we always get His hand.
