GROUP DESCRIPTION
Do you have six weeks to invest in the next 60 years of your marriage?
Marriage is one of the greatest gifts God has given us. At Mission Hills we would like to come alongside you in the early stage of your marriage to help you experience marital fulfillment and give you tools to weather the storms of life (Matthew 7:24-27).
Our New to Marriage Class is for couples of any age who are engaged or have been married five years or less. The curriculum is grounded in God’s Word to help couples better understand his intent for your relationship and address common struggles from a biblical perspective. Each session will include a 25-minute video teaching which will set the stage for you to have five core conversations that should be life giving. A small group discussion will follow, and the homework will provide you moments to pause together and reconnect around the core conversation.
Our hope is this environment will help you become more like Jesus, experience community with other couples, grow in oneness with your spouse, and learn to live on mission with your life and marriage. Couples who nurture oneness with one another and Christ have the greatest chance for having a great and lasting marriage as God intended.
