Open Door Ministries exists to provide practical help and hope to people in urban Denver who are homeless or low income. Their primary objective is to move people toward self-sufficiency by helping change the circumstances and life patterns that have held them captive to poverty and addictions. Through 17 distinct programs, they focus on tangible needs like food, shelter, access to education and employment training, as well as intangible needs such as friendship, hope, and Christian spiritual guidance.

We have opportunities to serve in the following areas: 1. “The Table” – to assemble breakfasts on Saturdays; 2. “The Family Room” – passing our coffee and snacks; 3. Landscaping and care for the greenery during warmer months; 4. Youth group workers on Wednesday nights; 5. Food Bank help on one Friday afternoon per month.
