We want to encourage you to share your time with others—reaching out either at a one-time event or on an ongoing basis. Mission Hills is proactive about reaching out with Christ’s love to people in our own community. There are many opportunities to serve.
In order to be as effective as possible, we have four key focus areas.
Key Focus Area
Many world communities are caught in cycles which prevent them from hearing the Gospel. The most immediate need they face is often for clean water, food, and the ability to provide for their family. Jesus had a heart for people; He met the physical need before addressing the eternal. In meeting the most basic needs of those we serve, we earn the right to also share God’s love. By educating locals, teaching hygiene, providing access to clean water, establishing sustainable businesses, and creating jobs, we are part of community transformation.

The Life Center vision is Transforming Communities Period. We live this out by investing in one life at a time by sharing the hope and love of Christ while meeting immediate needs and providing long-term solutions to empower people to live the life that God has for them. We offer services including a language center, counseling, food bank, severe winter shelter, and more. (John 10:10)

Over 87% of the people in our communities do not know Christ. When we serve in our neighborhoods and cities, we not only share the transforming power of the Good News, but we also become more like Jesus. Join us in transforming lives and communities by serving with our local partners. Click a partner below to get involved!

Serving Denver-area women, Alternatives seeks to educate clients and youth about abstinence before marriage and give those with an unplanned pregnancy an alternative to abortion. In addition, women with conflicted emotions about a past abortion are helped through post-abortion support groups. For more information, please contact Janice Sabin.
With the goal of representing Jesus well, learn to engage in honest conversations with people of opposing views.
