The Barn is a safe, exciting environment for infants–3 years old. Each room is designed to engage kids’ hearts at their age or developmental level to make friends, laugh, learn, play, sing and celebrate that:
GOD MADE ME | PSALM 139:13-14
GOD LOVES ME | ROMANS 8:38-39
JESUS WANTS TO BE MY FRIEND FOREVER | JOHN 3:16
What to Expect
Families with infants–2 years old, you will be greeted at the front counter inside The Barn by a volunteer to receive your child, diaper bag, and any other necessary items. Please make note of any information that will help in caring for your child, such as feeding times, sleeping times, allergies, and special needs.
Returning families with 2s–young 3s, you may bring children directly to their classroom door where the volunteers will welcome them to the class. They will also take any labeled items your child may need during their time with us.
Include the following items in your diaper bag:
- Diapers and a change of clothes
- Bottle of milk, formula, juice, or water
- Label all personal items (including pacifiers and sippy cups) with your child’s first and last name.
If your child has any food allergies, please bring a separate snack, labeled with their name.
If anything other than animal crackers are offered during the weekend services, an allergy alert sign will be placed outside the classroom door.
After you have completed the check-in process, simply wave a quick goodbye and leave for the Worship Service. It is normal for little ones to cry when a parent leaves. This does not last long, and separation becomes easier over time. Our volunteers will immediately create interest in a toy or activity and give assurance that you will return. If your child cries for an extended period of time, we will text you.
