Welcome

Thank you for your interest in Mission Hills Early Learning Center! MHELC exists to influence a child’s world for God by creating experiences for preschoolers to grow spiritually and developmentally. We count it an honor and a privilege to share this vision with our families to give each child a healthy and positive start in their education.

COVID-19 HEALTH + SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

We’re open for the 2020-2021 School Year! At MHELC, we are committed to giving your family a safe place to create a new normal. The safety and well-being of our students, families and staff is our highest priority. We have been and will continue to follow the information and guidance provided by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) as well as the department of public health.

DROP OFF + PICKUP

To minimize the number of people in the center, we are providing curbside drop off and pickup. We have also implemented contactless check in-out using the Procare Connect App. We have established two separate entrances for the preschool students. Finally, our team does a temperature and wellness check of every student before they join us for the day. Relationships are an important part of the culture at MHELC, so students are brought to class by a teacher they know!

STAFF SAFETY

All staff complete a temperature and wellness check before entering the building. Everyone on our team wears a face mask when caring for our students.

DAILY SANITIZING

Every day, our team follows a sanitizing schedule in each classroom, and playgrounds are sanitized after each use. The classroom floors, carpets and high contact surfaces are also sanitized between weekend use and weekday use.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Mission Hills Early Learning Center is dedicated to the spiritual, emotional, physical, social, and intellectual development of children through innovative education. Call us at 303.798.1481 or click the button above to email Shelley Gibson for more information.

ELC

theme-based units

Mission Hills Early Learning Center provides weekly, theme-based units. These units provide the children with guidance in their daily activities. The units help develop social skills, language skills, prewriting skills, and prereading skills. The units are appropriate for each child’s individual developmental stage.

The preschool provides the children with hands-on experiences. We offer low child/staff ratios in all of our classrooms.

Our staff are loving, caring individuals who have a personal love for the Lord. We aspire to make a difference in the lives of children, families, and the community.
