An event every week that begins at 12:00am on Saturday, repeating until November 18, 2018
Be a part of the largest child evangelism project in history by filling a shoebox for a child in need. Each shoebox contains the gospel message of hope to children around the world. This year we celebrate 25 years of Operation Christmas Child, and 157 million shoeboxes distributed from 1993 to 2017!
Pick up a shoebox in the lobby on the weekends of October 20/21, October 27/28, and November 3/4
Return your shoebox to the lobby on the weekends of November 10/11 and November 17/18
Or to Room M4 between 12 – 4 PM from Monday, November 12 through Monday, November 19
Help is needed to distribute and collect/package our shoeboxes and those brought to Mission Hills from all over the Southwest Metro area. We anticipate receiving more than 15,000 shoeboxes during National Collection Week, November 12 – 19, to send to the Denver Collection Center for shipment all over the world.

Filled cartons weigh between 35-50 pounds lateral lift. Men, your help is vital too!
Children age 7 and up, accompanied by an adult, are welcome to participate. (Please no more than 1-2 children per time slot.) Handing out the boxes and answering questions can be very hectic. Please sign children up next to parents name on the same line.
Adult help is essential during this time, as we put filled shoeboxes into cartons, and then load them onto large trucks. Both men and women are needed to make the process work. Your children age 8 and up are welcome, accompanied by an adult. (No more than 2 children under the age of 12 per adult.) This can be a great family or small group project. Please sign your children under 12 years on the same line as their parent. Men and teens, please don’t hesitate to sign up for the heavy lifting! This will count as high school volunteer hours.
