Dedicating your child and yourself to God is fundamental to family life. As parents, you are committing yourselves to teach your child the truths of God’s Word in your home. We believe that what happens at home is more important than what happens at church. We want to partner with you as you raise your child to understand and know what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
The dedication of a child does not guarantee a child’s salvation and is not infant baptism.
If Mission Hills is your church home and you are committed as a parent to lead your children to know God’s Word and guide them into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, please follow the steps below to participate in a Dedication Celebration.
Step One: Complete the Child Dedication Application below. Your application will be forwarded to the Kids Ministry Team and must be completed and received prior to the orientation.
Step Two: You will attend the orientation scheduled on a Wednesday evening prior to the Dedication Celebration. Unless you are a single parent, it is important that both parents attend the orientation.
Step Three: Join us, along with your family and friends, for a time of DEDICATION and CELEBRATION on a Saturday morning. This is a time for you to commit to put God first in your home and to trust Him to guide you as you lead your family and parent your child. This is a time to celebrate life and to dedicate your child before the Lord and pray for him/her to have a heart to know and love Jesus all the days of their life.
