Camper Safety is our priority!
The safety of our students is always our first priority when planning any event or camp. The following steps are just some of the ways we do our best to provide a safe experience for everyone.
• We always maintain a minimum of a 10 to 1 ratio of students to leaders
• Leaders are never permitted to be alone with a student in any situation
• All of our leaders undergo a thorough background check
• We provide our own non-emergency first aid and medical care
• Appropriate steps will be taken to contact emergency services if needed
• Transportation will be provided by the Lightrail and a bus company with CDL trained drivers
Camp Structure
Adventure Camp is set up to help students integrate into our Middle School ministry and for our ministry staff to get to know your students! Throughout camp they will learn one of the life-giving strategies we use called C.P.R. This stands for CONNECT, PROTECT, RESPECT. This strategy is essential to everything we do and also is designed for them to live the life God designed for them.
Please see the camp schedule for more information on daily activities and times.
Staying Connected at Camp
We have created a special texting group just for Adventure Camp parents to join so you can receive photos, updates and daily recaps of camp! This is also utilized to let you know the approximate time of when we will arrive back at Mission Hills Littleton Campus each day. Follow this link – https://www.remind.com/join/adca2022 – and enter your first and last name, phone number and select “parent” and you’re all set!
