Camper Safety is our priority!

The safety of our students is always our first priority when planning any event or camp. The following steps are just some of the ways we do our best to provide a safe experience for everyone.

• We always maintain a minimum of a 10 to 1 ratio of students to leaders
• Leaders are never permitted to be alone with a student in any situation
• All of our leaders undergo a thorough background check
• We provide our own non-emergency first aid and medical care
• Appropriate steps will be taken to contact emergency services if needed
• Transportation will be provided by the Lightrail and a bus company with CDL trained drivers

Camp Structure

Adventure Camp is set up to help students integrate into our Middle School ministry and for our ministry staff to get to know your students! Throughout camp they will learn one of the life-giving strategies we use called C.P.R. This stands for CONNECT, PROTECT, RESPECT. This strategy is essential to everything we do and also is designed for them to live the life God designed for them.

Please see the camp schedule for more information on daily activities and times.

Staying Connected at Camp

We have created a special texting group just for Adventure Camp parents to join so you can receive photos, updates and daily recaps of camp! This is also utilized to let you know the approximate time of when we will arrive back at Mission Hills Littleton Campus each day. Follow this link – https://www.remind.com/join/adca2022 – and enter your first and last name, phone number and select “parent” and you’re all set!

Other Helpful Information

• On Sunday, we will leave from the Mineral Lightrail Station. Please arrive at the Lightrail no later than 11:15 AM as our train leaves at 11:56 AM. In the off chance that your student runs late and misses the train, you will need to contact one of our middle school staff to drop-off your student at Coors Field.

• On Monday, please arrive at the Littleton Campus by 9:00 AM. We will meet in the Mill, give some brief instructions and leave from there by 9:30 AM. Again, if your student will be late or misses our departure time, it will be your responsibility to get them to the activity we are doing that day.

• On Tuesday, please arrive at the Littleton Campus by 9:00 AM. We will meet in the Mill and will leave for our activity for the day at 10:15 AM. Again, if your student will be late or misses our departure time, it will be your responsibility to get them to the activity we are doing that day.

• Medication: If your child will be taking any medication(s) during Adventure Camp, they will need to bring them in the original bottle or container and in a zip-lock bag with their name on it. Please send only necessary medications or medical supplies with your student. They will keep these with their belongings throughout the duration of camp.

• Emergency Contacts: If you need to get in touch with your student during camp or have any concerns, please contact Richard Koch (319-242-1935) or Christy Peterson (303-521-8144). We will do our best to respond to you!

Attendance Policy
Due to the high demand and limited spots for Adventure Camp, we are requiring all students to attend all three days to register for camp. This also includes early pick-ups from activities. In order to provide a safe structure for camp, we have to require that all students be in attendance for the duration of camp. If you would like your student to attend, please schedule other activities around Adventure Camp. Thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions, please contact Mission Hills Middle School Ministry.
Refund Policy
Due to our payment obligations, no refunds will be given after May 22. Sorry for any inconvenience this might cause you. There are some instances, such as a family tragedy OR quarantine due to COVID-19, that a refund may be possible, but not guaranteed. Please email Middle School Ministry if you have any questions.

Adventure Camp has reached capacity and registration is now closed. Join our waitlist to be notified if a spot opens up.
