EVERYONE HAS A ROLE
IN local MISSIONS
We want to encourage you to share your time with others—reaching out either at a one-time event or on an ongoing basis. Mission Hills is proactive about reaching out with Christ’s love to people in our own community. There are many opportunities to serve.
Our Key Focus Areas
Many world communities are caught in cycles which prevent them from hearing the Gospel. The most immediate need they face is often for clean water, food, and the ability to provide for their family. Jesus had a heart for people; He met the physical need before addressing the eternal. In meeting the most basic needs of those we serve, we earn the right to also share God’s love. By educating locals, teaching hygiene, providing access to clean water, establishing sustainable businesses, and creating jobs, we are part of community transformation.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” | Matthew 25:35-36
Partnering with ministries to provide a spiritual foundation to transform lives meeting needs of the community.
KIDS AT RISK
“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'” | Matthew 19:14
Partnering with ministries to provide a spiritual foundation to transform lives while meeting the needs of the youth and those facing troubled lives.
LEADERS OF THE FUTURE
And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others. | 2 Timothy 2:2
Partnering with ministries who empower the next generation to become transformational and influential leaders.
WOMEN IN NEED
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy. | Proverbs 31:8-9
Partnering with ministries that provide a spiritual foundation to transform lives while empowering and encouraging women, single mothers, victims, or those facing abuse.
LIFE CENTER LITTLETON
The Life Center vision is Transforming Communities Period. We live this out by investing in one life at a time by sharing the hope and love of Christ while meeting immediate needs and providing long-term solutions to empower people to live the life that God has for them. We offer services including a language center, counseling, food bank, severe winter shelter, and more.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. | John 10:10
OUR LOCAL PARTNERS
Over 87% of the people in our communities do not know Christ. When we serve in our neighborhoods and cities, we not only share the transforming power of the Good News, but we also become more like Jesus. Join us in transforming lives and communities by serving with our local partners. Click a partner below to get involved!
