Our KEY FOCUS AREA is WOMEN IN NEED + KIDS AT RISK
The mission of the John Foundation is to rescue vulnerable, orphaned children and young girls from being trafficked and provide them with hope for the future in a sustainable way. They work to instill a sense of worth and provide them with the education and employable skills needed to lift them up to a position where they can support themselves. This is accomplished through a variety of programs, such as: children’s homes, back-to-school programs, skills training centers, restoration homes for girls, transformation homes for adults, and church planters training.

Maharashtra Village Ministry works throughout the rural state of Maharashtra, endeavoring to bring the gospel to the unreached peoples in over 43,000 villages. Many villages are remote and not well connected by roads, but MVM faithfully pursues the task of reaching the unreached. The Shalom Center is the central location for their ministry outreach providing evangelism training, community development, Bible school education, children’s outreach, general education, an agricultural and skills training center, as well as health care.

Our KEY FOCUS AREA is KIDS AT RISK
Tim and Heidi have been Mission Hills missionaries since 1995 and have served in a variety of capacities overseas. Tim is the Chairman of the International Leadership Team for SERVED, which assists schools that serve children in areas affected by armed conflict. Training school leaders and teachers, as well as making vital educational resources available, provide a much needed positive and stable learning environment for these traumatized students.
Our Short Term Mission Trips to Asia
This will be the first year of serving with our new partners in North Asia. There will be a variety of activities including time spent in the English corner engaging students in spiritual discussions, creating open doors for further ministry connections. You will make a trip to the village of Dali and assist the outreach efforts by building relationships via games, art and music with the children at the Future Hope Community Center. Dali will give a unique cultural exposure to this trip. For mature believers, age 18+, already serving in ministry capacity at MHC.

THE JOHN FOUNDATION
This will be our fifth year serving alongside the John Foundation to help facilitate community transformation. There are a variety of programs to meet the needs of children at risk and women in need, as well as church planting and other ministries. This team will have the opportunity to work alongside the women in the various programs, spend time with the children at Asha Joyti, and help with staff development. There will be other opportunities depending upon the interests and skills of the team.

Maharashtra Village Ministries
Maharashtra Village Ministries is located near the city of Nagpur, India. In this rural area, the team will engage the Bible School students, as well as the instructors and visiting missionaries, with times of preaching, teaching, devotions and worship. As part of MVM’s teacher training program and spiritual retreat, the team will also enjoy sweet fellowship and spiritual refreshment as well as time for games and relaxation. Some manual work still needs to be accomplished at the center; the team will work alongside the nationals to complete some tasks.

WHY I WENT
It was the last day with the Restoration Girls/trafficked girls. As we stood praying, I walked behind 2 girls I had befriended and put my arms around them. They both leaned their heads on my shoulders, and Gouthami pulled my hand closer to her. With 3 perspiring heads together, tears rolled down my face. The girls had found someone to trust, and I had changed forever.
