Being a worshiper of God is a mark of a fully devoted follower of Jesus, so providing opportunities for worship is something we make a high priority as a church.
Welcome
The Mission Hills worship community includes people with a variety of musical, dramatic, artistic and technical abilities. This includes worship team singers, worship band players, orchestral players, dramatic actors, choral singers, handbell ringers, media developers, and sound and lighting experts.
Beyond ministering within the context of the services and events hosted at Mission Hills Church, our Worship Ministry has an impact regionally and even globally. Groups have performed at various Denver area professional sporting events, area hospitals, malls and retirement centers and have also ministered across the globe in such countries as Japan, India and France in recent years.
Adult Choir
Open to all singers high school age and up. The Choir rehearses in the Aspen Academy music room (in the basement below the worship center stage) on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
Worship Band
Are you a drummer, bass player, guitarist or keyboardist? Come join our group of talented musicians who bring life, passion and excellence to our services as they use their talents to praise God.
Worship Orchestra
Under the direction of Don Emmons, band director at Littleton High School, our orchestra continues to grow and provides occasional opportunities for instrumentalists to use their abilities to serve God.
Worship Team Singers
Auditions are held each year in early January for the team of singers who will lead people into God’s presence through music each Sunday.
Drama Ministry
Under the leadership of Bil Rodgers, this acting troupe provides occasional sketches for Sunday services.
Technical Ministry
Our worship services and special events require an increasingly sophisticated level of production that includes sound, lighting and media support. Whether you are an experienced “techie” or a beginner wanting to learn, there are opportunities for you here.
