What to Expect

Here's what you can expect on a typical Sunday morning. We will make every effort to create a pleasant experience for you as our valued guest.

Worship Services
Heartfelt worship, life-relevant messages from the Bible, and engaging media encompass the Worship Services at Mission Hills. Join us any Sunday for a morning focused on God and how to apply biblical truths to our everyday lives. Our worship services are lead by Brian Davis and Danny Oertli.

Acoustic Worship Service • 8:00 am
Our acoustic service is perfect for those who prefer a more unplugged worship style. In this service we worship using mostly the same songs as our other services, but we tend to use acoustic guitars and percussion instead of electric guitars and a loud drum kit.

Modern Worship Services • 9:30 & 11:00 am
Our modern services are perfect for those who prefer a more contemporary worship style. In this service we worship by singing modern praise and worship songs (i.e. Chris Tomlin, Charlie Hall, Hillsong).

Biblical Teaching
Every service includes the same biblical teaching - most often by our Senior Pastor, Mike Romberger. Pastor Mike's messages are typically a verse-by-verse (expository) look at what the Bible has to teach us. This ensures that we get to hear not only the easy lessons the Bible has for us but the challenging, and sometimes difficult to hear, lessons as well.

  Sunday School (Adults)
The Adult Sunday School classes of Mission Hills are thriving places to meet others in your same stage of life. Each class is different, but all of them welcome guests and those looking for a new group.
   
Infant and Toddlers
Infants and toddlers will feel safe and loved in an environment designed to help them begin to experience God's love and learn what it means to be part of His family.
Available at all services.
   
Age 2 - 1st Grade
Our purpose with preschoolersis to continue to build a godly foundation in children's lives through modeling God's love which leads them to know and to love Jesus Christ. We use interactive approaches to incorporate all of your child's senses (hearing, sight, smell, taste, and touch). Available at all services.
   
2nd - 5th Grade
Elementary classes feature age-appropriate Bible lessons, worship, music, drama, games, and activities for children.
Available at all services.
   

Junior High and High School - Grades 7 - 12
Student Impact engages students to serve instead of sit. Teams of youth serve our Children’s Ministry to make Sunday mornings an unforgettable place that kids are begging to come back to each week.

Junior High meets at the 9:30 am service
High School meets at the 11:00 am service

 

Parking
First Time Guest Parking is available in the front rows next to the main enterance.

Overflow parking with shuttle service is available at the South Denver Cardiology building to the west of the church building.

Finding Your Way Around
When you enter the main enterence you will be welcomed by a Welcome Center host who can help you check in your children and get you to where you need to go. The maps below my help locate a classroom or Sunday School class.
