Dear Mission Hills Family,

We continue to see God’s hand at work at Mission Hills Church, and we praise Him for what He is doing in our midst!

God’s blessings bring challenges and opportunities. We are seeing people give their lives to Christ and our growth continues to increase. Our current realities, however, include being forced to turn kids away in our children’s department and turn adults away from worship services due to overcrowding. We need more space!

After a month of prayer, our church leaders have brought clarity to our next steps with regard to our needed building expansion. The decision has been made to expand our building in two crucial areas:

    • Build an additional children’s wing
    • Add up to 700 seats to our Worship Center

The reality is that we are approximately $4 million short of what is needed to complete these projects. Thankfully, we currently have $4.2 million in gifts and commitments, but this project is in the $8 million range.

Here is what we are asking:

    •    Everyone gives something! If Mission Hills is your church home, help build your home.
    •    If you can’t give now, make a commitment of the amount you can give in 2012.
    •    If you have already committed or given money to this project, thank you. Prayerfully consider if you should give more.

Ten percent of all funds given to this new aspect of the project will go outside our doors to needed outreach projects. You can see some of these projects highlighted here.

On Sunday, March 4, a special offering will be taken for you to give your financial gift and/or 2012 commitment. Come prepared to give and watch God provide.
