Dear Mission Hills Family,

We continue to see God’s hand at work at Mission Hills Church, and we praise Him for what He is doing in our midst!

God’s blessings bring challenges and opportunities. We are seeing people give their lives to Christ and our growth continues to increase. Our current realities, however, include being forced to turn kids away in our children’s department. We need more space!

After much prayer and analysis, our church leaders have brought clarity to our next steps with regard to our needed building expansion. The decision has been made to expand our building through an additional children's wing. 

Through the fall and spring building campaign here is how God blessed Mission Hills and where we currently stand:

   • $4,461,917 received from 650 pledges to present campaign
   • $255,360 received from 282 people who did not pledge to present campaign
   • $260,861 cash overage from our previous campaign
   • $4,978,138 total money pledged/raised
   • $5,943,985 total project cost (includes $270k contingency)
   • $965,847 remaining gap

We will be taking a vote on Sunday, May 13 about moving forward with this building expansion. The vote will be on two items: 1) A construction loan to fund the project while the pledges are coming in; and 2) A loan to cover the remaining gap. With God’s continued faithfulness, and with the generous giving of those who have not pledged, it is possible we will not have to exercise the 2) loan option.
